So another month came and gone and I was no better at posting this past month than I was the previous. What is wrong with me? I can say I am pretty busy taking care of 3 kids, especially Elora. Lots has been going on but I do have to admit that since our computer crashed last month, I just don't have the desire to get on the computer much anymore. I am worried about my pictures and if I am not able to immediately download them to an external storage device...well I just don't do it. So when tonight Jon got on our blog to listen to the playlist and said, "Wow it's been a while", I thought to myself that I better take some time to update this blog. I will be happy that I did later. So lets just go down the list since the last post of May 12, 2009.
*I became the room mom in Tyler's class for the last 2 months of school and had to coordinate Teacher Appreciation week and gifts and had to come up with and run a field day activity.
*Tyler is in Soccer and is really liking it. He says that it is the only sport he knows how to do and that is why he likes it. Believe us, we have asked if he wants to play other sports but he just isn't a competitive boy and is just fine not doing any sports. We are really proud of how well he has been doing though.
*I took Tyler to the fire station with his friends and their families for a cub scout achievement sign off. It was pretty cool having the tour all to ourselves.
*I went on Degan's preschool field trip to The Farm @ Thanksgiving point. The kids in his class are so dog gone cute and I absolutely love his teacher. He will be going back to her next fall because she is so awesome.
*Dentist appointments for me and boys.....NO CAVITIES AGAIN!!! YAY!!!
*Hosted the cooking group for enrichment. Yummy salads, thanks guys for coming.
*My mom got to visit Memorial Day weekend. We had a good time relaxing and going to the Provo Canyon to see the falls.
*Swim lessons with Karen have ended, I am really sad. She is so awesome and we will totally miss her. She is moving away but she helped the boys so very much. Tyler has become a good little swimmer and Degan has gotten a lot more comfortable in the water. We will start back up in the fall but it won't be with Karen which is too bad.
*School ended and I now have a 3rd Grader and a 1st year preschool graduate.
*Our extra fridge died so I had to thoroughly clean our primary fridge so everything would fit. Not fun and I still want a new fridge or freezer to store things.
*Becky (Jon's sister) came to visit and we were able to throw Tara, Jen and Laurie baby showers. It was a busy weekend.
*I have been having fun experimenting with Elora's hair. She is so cute but WILL NOT leave any cute hairstyle alone. What do you do? Any suggestions?
*I took the kids to the BYU Museum of Art and to the BYU Creamery for fries and ranch dressing. I could live off of their Ranch salad dressing it is so good. The boys thought the art was cool but were pretty ready to go by the end.
*Tomorrow Tyler has to wake up at 5:30am to go to Cub Scout Day Camp. He will have a blast and I wish I could see him and his friends learning new things but I have to let him grow up and do things on his own. He has fantastic leaders that I know will take care of him.
