Mom, these are for you

My mom has been going through withdrawls so I am posting more pictures of Elora for her. I love you mom!

Easter

Today was Easter and we made it back to church for the first time with Elora. We only stayed for Sacrament meeting and I helped set up Primary then we left. We then went to Melba and Davy's (Jon's mom & dads) house for Easter dinner and an Easter egg hunt for all the cousins. They had a good time and got too much candy as usual, at least we ate dinner first. Now it is already time for a new week. Elora looked adorable in her little dress, this was the first time she had worn a dress and tights, and the boys once again didn't get a new Easter outfit. What is up with the stores, they make cute dresses for girls but every year I say I am going to get cute outfits for the boys and it doesn't happen. I checked several stores and I only saw really super fancy stuff or nothing that looked Eastery. Oh well, maybe next year I will start looking early.

I WON!!!

Well I actually won something. A few weeks back I went on a website that was talking about a woman, April Roper, who died when her house exploded about a year ago. That house was right here in Saratoga Springs and I remember when it happened. Her sister-in-law now has this website to inform people of the dangers of not only Carbon Monoxide but also Natural Gas Leaks (methane and propane). We have combination smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in our house but we do not have the natural gas alarm. On the website they are giving away one detector a month for the next year so I entered my name and I won. I am so excited to have this extra protection in our house. Jon's new baby!

This is Jon's new truck from his new boss. A brand new Peterbilt service truck. He loves it and so do the boys. When Degan saw it he said, "that is a Transformer Truck, like Long Arm." It is pretty cool when your dad has a "real life" Transformer Truck!!!
