little daddy

I walked in on Degan putting a pair of Elora's sandals on a little stuffed animal. I thought it was so cute. He was really proud of himself when he finally got them on.

Oh so pretty!

Just thought she looked so pretty in her pretty pink outfit and her pretty pink car seat. She is such a girl. Even her eyelashes curl up naturally, it is so cute.

It finally came out

After weeks of wiggling that tooth every night, it finally came out. What is funny is that Jon was playing around with Tyler and used a pair of TOY pliers to try and grab the tooth and it just popped out. The tooth fairy has been very busy bringing Tyler lots of $$$. He is looking so much older to me now. You can't even tell where it was since the adult tooth has been coming in for the weeks we have been wiggling it. It was the top left front tooth. What a handsome boy.

Jon and Elora right before church.

Spring is in the air!

What a beautiful Sat. it was. The weather was perfect and we had no commitments. Jon decided to start building the stairs from the deck down to the back yard. I am very excited about this especially since the other day when the boys were playing on the bubble out back, Degan almost broke his arm. I don't know how but his arm was all twisted between the bars and he was just hanging there. I had to run through the garage side door and out to the back to lift him up to get his arm out. Heavenly Father must have known that I would not be able to handle a kid with a broken arm right now. Anyway, while Jon was working on the stairs I decided to get the kids ready and take some pictures. Elora is now 3 months old today and I can't believe how big she has grown. I think they just look adorable.

Chip

We are very sad right now. Our dog Chip passed away today and we just can't believe how fast it happened. Chip was our 103 lb. ball of hair that was such a sweet dog. He put up with Tyler and Degan when they were babies, pulling on his hair and laying on him and I am sad that Elora won't have that experience. Of course I look back and think of all the things that I shoulda, coulda, woulda done, but he had a pretty good life. He was indoors 24/7 (he preferred it that way), had food and water, maybe not the most attention but he was loved and we will never forget him. He came into our lives when he was dumped in my Grandma's yard in Florida 12 years ago. Jon and I had just gotten married that January and my mom asked if she could fly him out to us. We asked her two questions....Do you think he will be big? and Do you think he will be hairy? He was such a small cute little thing, who knew he would be over 100lbs. and the hairiest dog I know. He moved to Oregon with us for our 7 month journey there and ate our couch (out of boredom), we both worked full time what else was he to do? He was with us when we bought our first house in California and then moved with us to Utah 2 years ago. He loved walks but in his old age it was hard on him. His last walk was about a week ago and the poor thing had to be practically dragged back home cause he was so tired, once he saw a cat he had his energy back. So sorry that your not with us anymore chippy, chippydoodle, pop pop and whatever else we called you. Degan asked if we could just go buy a power dog and give him power again. Not sure what a power dog is but if they made one we would try it. Chip, WE LOVE YOU.

I love her little tongue

Girls night out!

On Tues. I was able to go to Salt Lake City and enjoy dinner at The Roof restaurant with some wonderful friends that flew in for Women's Conference. My friend Alyssa flew in from Oregon and Kim flew in from California. It was so nice to see them and walk around Temple Square with them. The weather was wonderfully warm that evening and I had such a good time. Elora got to go since she is one of the girls now.
